Sony Warns Of Counterfeit Camcorder
Apparently, The Red Ferret Journal got a tip from Sony that for the past couple of months, there have been counterfeit handycams making their rounds on the streets over in the UK, and online auction sites like eBay. Typically, people are selling the $1000 cams for around $100 or so. The model number of one such fake was MX30-7000, not the normal model number for the Sony Handycam series.
